New quality in skin diagnostics

Personalized medicine

Derm LABO is the future of diagnostics.

depending on his needs and condition, to achieve the intended therapeutic goal with minimal burden on the body.

Currently, it is also a very expensive therapy, not widely available, reserved for specific disease entities, but very effective wherever it is used.

She is a member of the Polish Dermatological Society, the Association of Aesthetic Dermatologists and the International Association of Dermatoscopy. In her work, the most important thing for her is quick and accurate diagnosis and the implementation of effective treatment.

A new level of diagnostics

Artificial intelligence will help doctors

Artificial Intelligence will soon be able to help dermatologists in making diagnoses, and also provide indispensable assistance to general doctors in the classification of patients with skin lesions. DermLabo’s algorithm can assess the source of birthmarks and, in the future, the severity of skin melanoma as accurately as a human physician.

Artificial Intelligence was created to help doctors determine what type of skin nevus they are dealing with, and what is the stage of development of the skin cancer. While patients often find melanoma on their own by noticing a new mole or a lesion in a given site, dermatologists may have difficulty deciding whether a particular lesion is aggressive or not.

New possibilities

Analysis in few seconds.

To create the algorithm AI Technika used their own databases of birthmarks and databases of cooperating clinics, as well as the classification of melanomas based on the convolutional neural network – a powerful method of analysing images. Ultimately, it turned out to be effective in identifying various skin lesions.

The AI algorithms have been trained on hundreds of dermatoscope photos. The study shows that AI can help assess the severity of melanoma before surgery.
